The English Department is the foundation to Art and Design’s work surrounding literacy, college and career readiness, and empowering the voices of our students. The curriculum is diverse and the work is interdisciplinary, which enables students to see themselves in what they learn and apply concepts from other content areas in their projects. Our students become stronger readers and writers through their exploration of themselves and the discussion of others in interactive courses, with the opportunity for student choice.
