Computer Art Technology is a tool to organize your thoughts, improve your ability to communicate, and problem solve through creativity, design, and storytelling. The Technology Class provides students with an opportunity to transform themselves into designers with a purpose and interact with their environment creatively. Students will learn aspects of the fine arts, advertising, branding, graphic design, product design, web design, and photography. The main tools that will be used in the class are various programs in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. The ultimate goal of the course is that every student will be certified in Adobe Photoshop program.
The Computer Art Technology Class is a Career Technical Education (CTE) course taken by all sophomores in conjunction with their majors. This is a yearlong class that meets five times per week.
